From Coast to Countryside is a personal blog dedicated to exploring Dorset’s natural environment: its coastline, countryside, wildlife and the challenges it faces. The site is written and maintained by a Dorset-based Geography graduate with a strong interest in how landscapes evolve over time and how environmental change affects local communities.

Through a series of reflective articles, this blog looks at topics such as coastal erosion, farming and biodiversity, climate change and land use. It aims to make environmental issues accessible and relevant, while highlighting the unique character of Dorset’s landscapes.
